  1. Making Your Case: Navigating the Behavioral Interview in Healthcare
    Facilitator: Kelli MacPherson
    Duration: 30 minutes
    Description: This workshop reviews useful tips to take you from polishing up your resume to how to prepare for the behavioral interview. Key elements discussed will be how to get your resume and application through initial screening, how to prepare of behavioral interview questions, and how to manage common challenge of the interview process.

  2. How To Effectively Use Social Media in Your Job Search
    Facilitator
    : Joel Maier
    Duration: 30 minutes
    Description: In this workshop participants will learn how to effectively use social media resources such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to set up profiles that will get noticed, research companies, their key employees, and products as well as the pitfalls to avoid in using these resources. We will briefly discuss the use of job sites as well as research education opportunities. Participates will also get a behind the scenes look at how recruiters use LinkedIn to source talent and why it is critical to have a comprehensive profile.

  3. Resume Building Workshop
    Facilitator: Kim Gin and Jill Spriggs
    Duration: 30 minutes
    Description: Build your resume in order to get a job. Resume information will be discussed so that your resume shines.

  4. Interview Workshop
    Facilitator: Tony DiGaetano
    Duration: 45 minutes
    Description: This workshop will review the interview process, discuss the various interview modalities, address the components that make for a good interview and your role and learn how to practice and rehearse as you apply your skills in the interview process.

  5. Workshop Title: Developing Leadership Skills in the 21st Century
    Facilitator: Carlos Flores
    Duration: 60 minutes
    Description: In this workshop participants will learn how to develop leadership skills in the 21st century. Participants will learn how leadership skills are developed using a systems approach based on the concept that everything around you affects you either directly or indirectly. Participants will also learn the importance of both soft and hard skills in becoming a leader.


Workshops:
Workshops will run continually through the day in 30-minute blocks (except Developing Leadership Skills in the 21st Century which is every hour), beginning at 10:30am.
